I found out (back in May actually) that I was chosen Runner Up in the talent hunt. This is a surprise I never expected. I mean, you hope, but realistically, what are the odds? Thanks to Top Cow, and I look forward to what comes next.
Just uploaded 5 sequential pages that I submitted to the 2017 Top Cow Talent Hunt. These are taken directly from the script for their comic Postal (issue 9). It was fun and challenging working on this, and while I still have a lot of areas I can improve, I definitely feel like I've improved since the last time I attempted to draw sequential pages. Wish me luck.
Well, I did it. I finally stopped procrastinating long enough to put together a semi-professional looking website (It only took 40 years lol!) This is obviously cause for celebration and acknowledgment of the people who've helped get me to this point, so I would like to thank my wife Ada and our son Evan for their neverending inspiration, love, and support. I would also like to thank my mom, who has had nothing but faith in me all these years, and who, along with my dad, is responsible for nurturing my talent and giving me the direction and encouragement I needed to grow as a person and an artist. I'd also like to thank my extended family, friends, patrons, DeviantArt followers, and anybody else who has ever liked my art enough to let me know. You don't know how much that has helped me over the years. Although art is a passion and I could never imagine not doing it, there are times when it is difficult to find the time or energy to create. Thinking of you all helps to keep me going. Please feel free to contact me any time with with your thoughts, questions, critiques, and well-wishes, and if you would like to hire me, that'd be swell too. After all, I need to fill this site with something.
